Mighty Ducks Alternate Logo

The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim have had an interesting history regarding their alternate logo. While the primary logo has remained constant throughout the team’s existence, several unique designs have been used as alternates over time. The first iteration was introduced in 1996 and featured a duck wearing sunglasses with wings spread out behind him. This design was only used for one season before being replaced by a more traditional-looking duck, which incorporated elements from both their original and current logos into one image.

In 2003, the team unveiled another new alternate logo that depicted an angry-looking wild-eyed Duck standing atop his hockey stick with flames coming off of his feathers; this design would become known as “the mad duck” and remain in use until 2007 when they changed back to their previous version featuring just a regular looking bird without any additional embellishments or details surrounding it. Finally, after almost 10 years since changing away from “the mad duck” look, they brought back this popular alternate logo once again in 2017; however, instead of having flames around him like before now, he is surrounded by stars representing all those who play for or support the Mighty Ducks organization each day!

Overall while some may not think much about sports teams' logos - especially ones that don't change very often - it's clear how vital these symbols are to fans everywhere who identify strongly with them no matter what changes come along through time! From "The Mad Duck" to today's starry sky background, every single incarnation has served as a reminder of why we love our beloved Anaheim-based NHL franchise: because, at heart, we're all still mighty ducks too!
