St. Louis Blues
The emblem the team proudly displays is called “the Blue Note.” The Blue Note was taken from the music scale and represents the team’s name. The classic note logo featured a blue note with wings outlined in yellow, white and blue.
Blues Alternate Logo
The St. Louis Blues alternate logo has a long history dating back to the team’s inception in 1967. The original logo featured an abstract design with two blue stripes, representing the Mississippi River which runs through St. Louis, curving around a white circle with red trim and containing a large “B” for “Blues” inside it. This design was used until 1998, when the team changed their primary color from blue to navy blue and updated their look accordingly by changing their alternate logo.
The new version of this iconic symbol incorporated more details than its predecessor; instead of just two stripes, there were now three, each one representing one part of Missouri: east (blue), west (white) & central (red). In addition to this change in colors, they also added stars above & below the lettering as well as made slight adjustments such as adding beveled edges or slightly altering font sizes/styles throughout its various iterations over time - all while maintaining its core identity intact since 1998!
Today we can still find versions of this classic emblem used on merchandise like hats or t-shirts. Still, many people prefer it not only because it is so recognizable but also due to how much nostalgia comes along with seeing these designs once again after all these years – something that will undoubtedly continue into future generations no matter what changes may come about within hockey culture itself!
