Canucks Wordmark Logo

The Vancouver Canucks have been a part of the National Hockey League since 1970, and their logo has gone through many changes over the years. The original logo was designed by former Canuck player Stan Smyl in 1978 and featured an orca whale with a hockey stick in its mouth. This design was used until 1997, when it was replaced with a more modernized version featuring an aggressive-looking Orca surrounded by blue ice-like shapes on either side.

In 2006, the Canucks unveiled their latest wordmark logo, which is still being used today. It features bold lettering that reads “Canucks” in white against a black background, along with two slanted lines at each end of the text to create an eye-catching effect.
