Kraken Primary Logo
The Seattle Kraken is a professional hockey team that has recently joined the National Hockey League (NHL). As with all NHL teams, they have their primary logo. This logo has become critical to the team’s identity and history.
The Seattle Kraken primary logo was designed by local artist Justin Hampton in 2020 and unveiled on July 23rd. The design features a large “S” for Seattle with two Kraken tentacles extending from it to form an anchor shape at the bottom right corner. The colors used are navy blue, ice blue, red, and white, representing water elements and the strength and power associated with sea creatures like Kraken.
Since its unveiling, this iconic symbol has been embraced by fans worldwide who proudly wear merchandise featuring it or display artwork incorporating it into their homes or offices to celebrate their favorite new hockey team! It is an inspiration for many people who now have another reason to be proud of living in a diverse city like Seattle, where something unique can come alive through artistry!
