Bullets Primary Logo

The Baltimore Bullets were a professional basketball team that played in the NBA from 1947 to 1954. The team was initially named after the old National League baseball club, which had been disbanded in 1899. During their time in the NBA, they won two division titles and made one trip to the Finals. One of their most recognizable logos during this era was created for them when they joined the league in 1949.

This logo featured a white basketball with red trim along its edges inside an orange circle outlined by blue and black lines on either side; at its center was a white star with five points surrounded by five smaller stars arranged around it like petals on a flower blossom. The words “BALTIMORE BULLETS” appeared above this design while below it reads “NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION” written out across three lines of text separated by dots between each word respectively; all lettering is done using black font against an orange background color located at the bottom right corner portion just outside perimeter line drawn around the entire image itself as a whole unit.
