Rockies Alternate Logo
The Colorado Rockies are an NHL hockey team that has had a few alternate logos over the years. The first of these was introduced in 1995 and featured a mountain with snow-capped peaks, set against a blue sky. This logo was used until 2003 when it was replaced by one featuring two crossed hockey sticks and the team’s name written across them. This logo remained in use until 2007 when the current alternate logo debuted: an updated version of their original mountain design, this time placed inside a circle with “Colorado Rockies” written around it.
This new design is meant to represent both the Rocky Mountains that make up much of Colorado's landscape as well as pay homage to their original 1995 look while still feeling fresh and modernized for today's fans. The colors are chosen also reflect those found throughout nature in Colorado - from deep blues representing its many lakes to bright yellows symbolizing its sunny days spent outdoors skiing or hiking through mountainside trails - making this logo perfect for any fan who wants to show off their love for all things Rocky Mountain State!
Overall, Colorado's alternate logos have come full circle since 1995; they've been able to keep some elements from past designs while also introducing something new each time so that no matter what era you're looking at there will always be something familiar yet exciting about them! With such strong symbolism behind each one, it comes as no surprise why these logos remain popular amongst fans even after all these years - they truly capture everything special about being part of Team Avalanche Nation!
