Eagles Alternate Logo

The St. Louis Eagles were a professional ice hockey team that played in the National Hockey League (NHL) during the 1934-35 season. The team was originally known as the Ottawa Senators, who had relocated to St. Louis prior to their first season in 1934-35 and changed their name accordingly. Despite only playing one year in St. Louis, they left an indelible mark on hockey history with their unique alternate logo design which is still highly sought after by collectors today!

The logo features a red eagle head with a yellow beak and eyes set against a white background inside of a black circle outlined by silver trimming around its edges – all of which is centered inside of two crossed sticks forming an “X” shape at its base for added effect! This distinctive design has become iconic among NHL fans due to its rarity; as it was only used for one year before being replaced when the franchise moved back to Ottawa following that single-season stint in Missouri’s largest city.
