Cubs Alternate Logo
The earliest known alternate logo for the Cubs was used during World War I when they wore an olive drab cap with a red "C" on it to show support for those fighting overseas. In 1925, another version of this same design was introduced with navy blue replacing olive drab as well as using white trim instead of red for the “C” symbolizing their home city colors at that time (royal blue & white). This particular style would be used until 1933 when yet another variation featuring an updated font and larger size appeared on uniforms across all levels within the organization from minor league affiliates up through Major League Baseball itself!
In recent years more modernized versions of these classic logos have been created such as one featuring a bear head inside a circle shape which debuted in 2012 or even 2018's take which saw old-school lettering get replaced by sleek lines giving off a futuristic vibe while still keeping traditional elements intact like the color scheme - royal blue/white combo along with iconic 'CUBS' wordmark underneath main image making sure fans never forget who they're cheering for! Regardless of what era you may find yourself living through, there will always be something special about Chicago Cub's alternate logos because whether new or vintage each holds its own place within franchise history representing how far the club has come since first taking the field back in 1876!
