Angels Wordmark Logo
The California Angels wordmark logo has been a staple of the team since its inception in 1961. The original logo featured an interlocking “CA” with a halo above it and was used until 1996 when they changed their name to the Anaheim Angels. From then on, they adopted a new logo that included an angelic figure holding up two baseball bats and wearing wings, along with their current nickname written out underneath. This design would become one of the most iconic logos in Major League Baseball history, as well as being recognized by fans around the world for decades to come.
Throughout its nearly 60-year tenure, there have been several iterations of this classic design over time that have helped keep it fresh while still remaining true to its roots. In 1997, minor changes were made such as adding stars around the halo and making subtle alterations to font size or color choices but overall kept consistent with previous designs; however, more drastic changes came about in 2000 when they decided to switch from red & white colors scheme back into navy blue & gold which had previously not been seen since 1979-1982 seasons prior. They also updated their angelic mascot character slightly giving him more realistic features like eyes instead of just having his face blanked out before then too!
In conclusion, the California Angels Wordmark Logo is truly timeless despite all these various redesigns throughout the years; no matter what style or color palette is used, it always manages to stay recognizable amongst fans everywhere - further proofing how powerful branding can really be! It's safe to say this emblem will continue to represent the franchise even after another fifty-plus years go by if things remain the same way today!
