Giants Primary Logo
The New York Giants have a long and storied history in Major League Baseball. Their primary logo has been around for over 100 years, and it is one of the most recognizable logos in all of the professional sports. The original logo was created by cartoonist Henry Alonzo Keller in 1902 when the team first joined the National League. It featured an orange baseball with black lettering that read “Giants” above it. This simple design became an instant hit among fans, as well as other teams across the league who adopted similar designs for their own logos soon after its debut.
Over time, slight modifications were made to modernize and refine this classic look while still maintaining its core elements—the iconic orange ball with bold lettering above it—which remain today nearly unchanged from their original form more than a century ago! In recent years there have been minor changes such as adding white outlining to make certain features stand out better on uniforms or merchandise; however these are subtle updates that do not detract from what makes this logo so beloved: its timelessness!
The New York Giants' primary logo is truly iconic within MLB culture and continues to be recognized by both new generations of fans as well as old-timers alike who remember when they first saw those bright oranges letters emblazoned against a crisp white background decades ago - something which will surely last another hundred years or more!
