Braves Primary Logo
The Milwaukee Braves' primary logo has a long and storied history. The team began as the Boston Braves in 1912 but changed its name to the Milwaukee Braves when it moved to Wisconsin in 1953. The original logo for this new franchise was an interlocking “MB” that featured a baseball diamond inside of each letter. This design was used until 1957 when it was replaced by another iconic design that featured a tomahawk with crossed bats behind it and an outline of Wisconsin above them all.
This classic version of the Milwaukee Braves' primary logo lasted until 1965, at which point they switched again - this time to one featuring their nickname written out across two lines: "Braves" on top and "Milwaukee" beneath it in script font surrounded by stars representing both state pride and Native American imagery alike. This remained unchanged until 1969 when they adopted yet another new look - this one depicting Chief Noc-A-Homa (the team's mascot) wearing traditional headgear while holding up his tomahawk triumphantly over his head; he also had feathers sticking out from either side like wings!
Though there have been several different versions of the Milwaukee Brewers' primary logos throughout their history, none are more iconic than those first few designs from 1953 through 1965 – especially that classic tomahawk/crossed bats combination! It's become synonymous with not only baseball fans around America but also those who live near or visit Miller Park every summer season; even today you can still find merchandise bearing these beloved symbols being sold at stores near stadium grounds or online retailers worldwide!
