Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox logo comprises of a pair of hanging socks visually representing the team’s name, which derives from the ancient plural form of the word “socks”. All wordmark have been removed.
Red Sox Alternate Logo
In 2002, they unveiled their current alternate logo featuring two socks intertwined to form a heart shape with an old-fashioned baseball inside of it. This design featured navy blue as its primary color instead of red or white like previous designs had used before this time period. This new look also included bold yellow accents throughout to give off a sense of energy and excitement for fans when they see this symbol on hats or jerseys at games and other events where Boston Red Sox apparel is worn proudly by supporters all around the New England area!
The most recent addition to the family came just last year when they introduced another variation that features four different colors: navy blue (as seen before), grayish green (which represents Fenway Park's Green Monster), maroon (representing passion), and gold (for good luck). All these elements come together perfectly to create one cohesive design representing everything we love about our beloved baseball team from Beantown! It's no wonder why so many people have embraced this updated version - there really isn't anything else quite like it out there right now!
