FC Cincinnati Primary Logo
FC Cincinnati is a professional soccer team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team was founded in 2015 and joined the United Soccer League (USL) for its inaugural season in 2016. Since then, FC Cincinnati has become one of the most successful teams in USL history, making it to the playoffs every year since joining and winning two championships.
The logo that represents FC Cincinnati has changed over time as well; each iteration reflects both an evolution of design principles as well as changes within the organization itself. The first logo featured a lion head with orange stripes on either side representing strength and courage- values that have been integral to FC Cincinnati’s identity since its inception. In 2018, when they became part of Major League Soccer (MLS), their primary logo underwent significant changes: adding blue accents around the lion head symbolizing unity among fans across all demographics while also incorporating more modern design elements such as bold fonts and sharp angles into their visual identity system.
Today's version features a shield shape with three stars above it along with "Cincinnati" written underneath - emphasizing how much pride this city takes from having an MLS team represent them in national level competitions like CONCACAF Champions League or US Open Cup tournaments. Furthermore, the white background radiates optimism about what lies ahead for this club - something that can be seen throughout every aspect of its brand image today. This new look not only celebrates past successes but also serves to inspire future victories for years to come!
