Sacramento Republic FC Logo History
The Sacramento Republic FC logo history began with a fan-led initiative to define the team's identity. On Sacramento Soccer Day in 2013, the club unveiled a classic shield design that incorporated elements from the California state flag. Because the community voted on the design, it became an immediate point of pride. Furthermore, the use of "Old Glory Red" helped the Sacramento Republic logo stand out immediately in the professional soccer landscape.
This iconic crest features a grizzly bear and a nautical star, both of which pay homage to the state's storied history. Below the bear, the motto "Urbs Indomita"—Latin for "Indomitable City"—reflects the club's resilient nature. As the team grew, this Sacramento Republic FC logo became synonymous with success on the pitch. While the organization continues to pursue its Sacramento Republic FC MLS ambitions, the primary shield has remained a consistent and beloved emblem for the region.
