Sunders FC Alternate Logo

The Seattle Sounders FC is one of the most popular soccer clubs in North America, and their alternate logo history has been just as dynamic. The first iteration of the club's alternate logo was unveiled in 2009 when they joined Major League Soccer (MLS). This original design featured a shield with a light blue background and two white stripes on either side. Inside the shield was an image of Mt. Rainier with an eagle soaring above it; this symbolized Seattle's natural beauty as well as its strong sense of civic pride.

In 2016, after winning MLS Cup for the first time in franchise history, Seattle released a new version of their alternate logo to commemorate that momentous occasion. This updated design featured some slight changes to colors and shapes compared to its predecessor but still kept many elements from before such as Mt Rainier being at a center stage within the badge shape itself. Additionally, a subtle addition was two stars which represented each MLS Cup victory achieved by the Sounders up until that point.

Finally, in 2020 another update came about for yet another milestone - 10 years since joining MLS . This latest version saw major changes including replacing Mount Rainier with Space Needle inside along with adding several different shades between green-blue color scheme while also keeping those same two stars from before representing both cup victories won by the club during this decade-long span .. These three logos have become synonymous not only with success but also represent important moments throughout team’s rich history over past 11 years making them even more special among fans all around the world!
