Fusion Wordmark Logo

The Miami Fusion FC wordmark logo is one of the most recognizable and iconic logos in professional soccer. This logo has been used for over two decades to represent the team, its fans, and the city of Miami. The history behind this logo is as unique as it is interesting.

The original design was created by a local artist named Eduardo Arrington in 1998 when he was commissioned by then-owner Ken Horowitz to come up with a new look for his newly formed Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise: The Miami Fusion FC. Arrington's design featured an orange sunburst with five stars representing each county within South Florida which were overlaid on top of an abstract “M” shape that represented both "Miami" and "Fusion". He also included three stripes running across horizontally at different angles which symbolized movement, energy, and dynamism - all things associated with soccer in general but especially so within South Florida where passionate fans packed stadiums every game day during its time spent competing in MLS from 1998-2001 before folding due to financial difficulties after just four seasons playing professionally under this name/logo combination

Today however despite no longer having any official affiliation or presence on any professional level league; The legacy left behind by both the club itself along with its distinct branding remains strong not only in south Florida but worldwide amongst many die-hard supporters who still proudly wear these colors wherever they go! In addition to being seen regularly adorning various fan merchandise such as t-shirts & hats; Its influence can even be felt today through other teams' designs like InterMiami CF whose own badge pays homage directly back towards what once was here nearly 20 years ago now!
