Starzz Primary Logo
The Utah Starzz is a professional women's basketball team that competed in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) from 1997 to 2002. The logo of the team has seen several iterations over its history, but one thing remains constant: it is an homage to the state of Utah and its unique culture.
When the franchise was first established in 1996, its primary logo featured a star-shaped design with three stars inside. This symbolized not only their name but also paid tribute to Salt Lake City’s nickname “the Beehive State” due to its large population of honeybees. The colors used for this initial logo were purple and gold which represented royalty and power respectively – fittingly enough given that they were named after Queen Esther who ruled ancient Israel during Biblical times.
In 1999, when Delta Center became a home arena for Starzz games, they changed up their look once again by adding two more stars into their existing three-star design while keeping all other aspects intact including the color scheme; this time however each star was filled with either blue or yellow instead just being outlined in those colors like before so as create an even stronger connection between them and Salt Lake City itself since both feature these same two hues prominently throughout various parts cityscape such as buildings/monuments, etc…
Finally, when 2001 rolled around yet another tweak occurred where now instead of having five individual stars within the main shape there were four larger ones arranged together to form what looked almost like a flower petal pattern around the center point thus making it overall much more eye-catching than the previous versions had been while still maintaining same basic elements from the original version (i.e., number & type shapes). Even today despite no longer playing WNBA teams' iconic emblem still serves to remind fans everywhere about how important sport truly can be bringing people from different backgrounds together through a shared love of something game basketball!
