Lynx Alternate Logo

The Minnesota Lynx have been a staple of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) since their inception in 1999. Throughout its history, they have had various alternate logos and designs that represent the team's spirit and culture.

In 2010, the Lynx introduced an updated logo featuring a fierce-looking lynx leaping through a basketball hoop with its claws extended outward. This design was meant to reflect how hardworking and determined the team is on the court as well as off it. The colors used for this logo were blue, green, white, and black – all of which are representative of Minnesota’s state flag; blue symbolizes loyalty to one another while green represents hope for success in every venture taken by each member of the team.

In 2012, the Lynx unveiled an alternate “M” Logo with three stars above it representing Minneapolis where they play their home games at Target Center Arena. This new design also included two additional stars underneath paying homage to both St Paul & Rochester - cities located within Hennepin County where many fans come from far & wide just to watch them play live! The use of orange was added into this particular version because not only does it look great but also serves as a reminder that no matter what happens during any given game or season these ladies never give up until victory has been achieved!

Finally, in 2014, they released yet another rebranding effort which featured more modernized elements such as curved lines along with brighter colors like yellow & purple being incorporated into the mix giving us the final product seen today: A sleek looking badge shaped like the letter “L" set against solid background color scheme consisting primarily blues/greens/white tones making a statement about unity strength togetherness amongst players coaches staff alike!

Overall over years, we've seen some amazing designs come out from talented graphic designers working behind scenes to create something truly special to commemorate our beloved MN LYNX franchise so here's hoping next time around will be even better than before!!
