Miracle Alternate Logo
The Orlando Miracle, a Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) team that was based in the city of Orlando, Florida played from 1999-2002. During their short time as part of the WNBA, they had two different alternate logos.
The first logo was unveiled when the team joined in 1999 and featured an orange basketball with white stars around it set against a black background with “Miracle” written above it. This logo symbolized how unique and special this new franchise would be for women's professional basketball in Central Florida. It also served to honor all those who worked hard to make sure that women could have an opportunity to play professionally at such a high level within their community.
The second logo debuted during the 2001 season and featured another orange basketball but this time surrounded by blue flames instead of white stars on top of what appeared to be clouds or mountains below it along with “Orlando Miracle” written across them both horizontally and vertically respectively. This design represented not only strength but also resilience because despite being one year away from ceasing operations due to financial difficulties faced by the ownership group; players still kept going out there each night giving everything they got every game until the last buzzer sounded signaling an end for them too soon unfortunately.
Overall both designs were creative attempts at introducing something new while honoring past accomplishments which is why many fans still remember them fondly even today long after the franchise has gone defunct now almost 20 years later!
