Vipers Wordmark Logo
The Tampa Bay Vipers are a professional American football team based in the city of Tampa, Florida. The team is part of the XFL and was one of its founding members when it launched in 2020. As such, they have an iconic logo that has become synonymous with their brand identity. The wordmark logo for the Vipers is a unique design that features bold lettering as well as two viper snakes intertwined around each other on either side.
The history behind this logo dates back to 2019 when Vince McMahon announced his plans to launch a new professional football league called the XFL. In preparation for this venture, he asked various graphic designers from across America to submit designs for potential logos and uniforms teams would use throughout their inaugural season in 2020. One designer submitted an idea featuring two viper snakes intertwined around each other which immediately caught McMahon's eye due to its originality and creativity compared to some of the more traditional designs being presented at that time period. After several rounds of revisions by both parties, what we now know today as “the Vipers” wordmark logo was born!
Since then it has been used extensively by fans all over America who proudly wear apparel with this iconic symbol printed on them or display signs featuring these words during games played at Raymond James Stadium where home games take place every week during regular season playtime. It also serves as motivation within locker rooms before game time reminding players why they joined forces together: To represent Tampa Bay through hard work and passion while playing under one unified banner - The Viper Wordmark Logo!
