The Orlando Guardians are a professional American football team based in Orlando, Florida. The team was established in 2020 as part of the XFL's reboot and is one of eight teams competing for the league championship. As such, they have developed their own unique primary logo to represent their brand on and off the field. This essay will explore the history behind this logo and how it has evolved since its inception.

The original primary logo for the Orlando Guardians featured a shield shape with an orange outline that contained three stars at its center along with two crossed swords above them, all within a white background color palette. This design was meant to symbolize strength and protection while also representing some aspects of medieval heraldry which could be seen throughout Central Florida’s culture at large during that era.
