Demons Primary Logo
The San Francisco Demons are one of the original eight teams that competed in the XFL, a short-lived American football league. The team’s primary logo has gone through several iterations since its inception in 2001. It is currently an abstract design featuring a devilish character with horns and wings, as well as two lightning bolts on either side of him.
The first version of the logo was used during their inaugural season and featured a more cartoonish demon figure wearing an orange jersey with black stripes down each arm and across his chest. This version also had two stars above his head to signify success or victory for the team while playing in this new league. While it was simple enough to be recognizable by fans, it lacked any real depth or complexity which may have been why they chose to update it after just one year into something more modern looking yet still representative of their identity within this sport's culture at large.
Following up on that initial effort came what most people recognize today when thinking about San Francisco Demons' branding: A much darker silhouette style image showing off some impressive details such as flames coming from both sides around him along with intricate feather detailing throughout his wingspan giving off an intimidating presence even if he never truly appears menacing himself directly as other logos do so often these days. This typeface choice for “Demons” helps bring out those subtle nuances too which all combine together nicely making sure everyone knows who you're cheering for no matter where you go!
