Vipers Alternate Logo

The Tampa Bay Vipers of the XFL have a unique alternate logo that has been around since the team’s inception in 2020. The logo is an homage to Florida’s rich history with snakes and features a green viper head on top of a yellow lightning bolt. This design was chosen to highlight both the ferocity and speed associated with their home state, as well as provide fans with an exciting visual representation of their hometown team.

The original concept for this alternate logo came from artist Justin Thomas, who wanted to create something that would capture all aspects of Tampa Bay culture while still being recognizable by football fans everywhere. After numerous drafts were created and reviewed by both Thomas and members from within the organization, they settled on what we now know today as “the Viper Logo” – which has become one of the most iconic symbols in all professional sports leagues worldwide!

Since its introduction last year, this alternate emblem has been embraced not only by local residents but also those living outside Florida; it is often seen adorning hats or shirts during games at Raymond James Stadium or any other venue where Vipers play against opponents across America.
