Primary Logos

The NFL Primary logo is quite extensive going back to the beginning years of 1920 and before. In the NFL’s rich history of logos, they have produced and used many NFL primary logos, NFL alternate logos, and NFL wordmark logos. The NFL has an in-house marketing team that created the current version of the logo in 2008. These 3-D Sports logo was created by the NFL marketing team under the purview of Lisa Baird, then-NFL Senior Vice President of Marketing. The first edition of the modern NFL shield was adopted in 1941.
