Renegades Wordmark Logo
The Ottawa Renegades have a long and storied history in the Canadian Football League (CFL). The team, which was founded in 2002, has gone through several iterations of its logo since then. One of the most iconic designs is their wordmark logo. This logo features an interlocking “R” and “G” to represent both the city name (Ottawa) and the team name (Renegades).
Throughout its existence, this wordmark has been tweaked slightly over time but remains largely unchanged from when it was first introduced. In 2003, for example, a white outline was added around each letter to help make them stand out more against darker backgrounds. In 2004 an additional black outline was added as well as some shading within each letterform to give them more depth and dimensionality on various surfaces such as jerseys or hats.
Over time these minor changes have helped keep this classic design fresh while still retaining all that made it so great initially: boldness mixed with a simplicity that perfectly captures what makes up any CFL franchise—its spirit! It's no wonder why many people consider this one of the best logos ever created by any professional sports league across North America! So if you're looking for something timeless yet modern at once – look no further than Ottawa's beloved Renegade Wordmark Logo!
