Posse Alternate Logo
The Las Vegas Posse was a Canadian Football League (CFL) team that played in the city of Las Vegas from 1994 to 1995. While they only lasted two seasons, the Posse left an indelible mark on CFL history – and their alternate logo is no exception!
The alternate logo for the Las Vegas Posse was designed by renowned artist David Arrigo. The design features a black silhouette of a horse with its head held high against an orange background with red accents. The horse’s mane is blowing in the wind, and it has three white stars above its head representing Nevada's state motto: “All for our country”. This unique design makes it one of the most recognizable logos among CFL teams both past and present - making it highly sought after by collectors today!
In addition to being visually striking, this logo also has great historical significance as well; when designing this particular symbol, Arrigo wanted to pay homage to Nevada's rich gambling heritage while still staying true to traditional football imagery such as horses which are often associated with strength and power within sports culture. As such, he incorporated elements from both worlds into his creation – resulting in what we now know as one of Canada’s most iconic sports logos ever created!
Overall, there can be no doubt that David Arrigo did an amazing job creating this unique piece for fans all over Canada who were lucky enough to witness first-hand how powerful football could be when brought together under one roof at Sam Boyd Stadium! It may have been short-lived but thanks to him we will always remember just how much fun watching professional football can really be - even if you're not located near any other major cities or stadiums!
