The original 1958 design also featured two crossed swords below "Blue Bombers" which were meant to represent strength and courage - traits that are essential for any successful team striving toward victory! However, these elements were removed from subsequent versions due to copyright issues related to their use by another organization at that time; but they remain an important part of Winnipeg's rich history nonetheless!
