The New Orleans Hornets brought the Hornet nickname with them when they moved from Charlotte. The nickname Hornets did not seem to fit in New Orleans and they eventually changed to the Pelicans. During this time hurricane Katrina came and force the Hornets to move temporality to Oklahoma City. So they have logos for both New Orleans and Oklahoma City.
