Stallions Primary Logo

The Salt Lake Stallions are a professional American football team based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The team is part of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) and began to play in 2019. As with all AAF teams, the Stallions have their own unique logo that serves as an iconic symbol for the franchise and its fans. This essay will explore the history behind this primary logo and how it has evolved over time to become what we know today.

When first introduced ahead of their inaugural season, the primary logo featured a black stallion head inside a white circle with blue accents around it; above which was written “Salt Lake” while underneath read “Stallions” both in gold font against a black background. This design immediately stood out amongst other AAF logos due to its uniqueness compared to traditional sports designs at that time - particularly within football where most logos tended towards more simplistic designs featuring either animals or abstract shapes/symbols instead of detailed illustrations like those found on baseball caps or hockey jerseys for example.
