Colorado Stampede
The Colorado Stampede logo features an aggressive, forward-charging bison head shown in a three-quarter profile, angled as if bursting toward the viewer. The bison is rendered in rich dark brown with cream and tan highlights defining its shaggy mane, brow and horns, while burnt orange accents streak back from its face and beard, creating a sense of speed and motion like dust kicked up in a stampede. Its narrowed eye glows orange with an intense, focused glare, and a cream-colored “C” emblazoned on its forehead ties the mascot directly to Colorado. Two curved, cream horns sweep upward, framing the head and adding to its powerful silhouette.
Below the bison, “COLORADO” is set in spaced, burnt orange capitals with a slight slab-serif edge, and “STAMPEDE” sits beneath in large, heavy dark brown letters with a subtle forward slant that reinforces the charging energy of the mark. The earthy palette of brown, cream and orange evokes the high plains, red rock and Western frontier heritage of Colorado, while the bison itself nods to the state’s ranching history and rugged, untamed spirit.

Colorado Stampede Primary Logo History
The Colorado Stampede logo was first shown on October 25, 2026, at a launch party inside Weidner Field. The design is built around a bison head with sweeping brown streaks that stand for a powerful herd and the ground it shakes. This is the Colorado Stampede buffalo logo most fans picture, and it fits the team’s name perfectly. From day one, the mark gave the new UFL team a bold look in a league that was growing fast.
The Colorado Stampede primary logo uses two main colors. Bison Brown covers most of the animal, while the beard, nose, eye, and the “C” on the forehead are in Canyon Red, a shade taken from the red rocks at the Garden of the Gods. Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade also pointed out the white touches that remind him of snowcapped mountains. Together, these details tie the Colorado Stampede UFL logo to Pikes Peak country and the state itself.
Since the team starts play in 2027, this first design is also the only version so far. As new versions come out, we will add every one to our archive so fans can see how the Colorado Stampede logo grows over time. For more team details, visit the Colorado Stampede history page.
