It is no secret that one has a healthy skepticism regarding the XFL. The XFL has had its failures to launch in the past. Over 20+ years ago, Vince Mcmahon and Dick Ebersol's XFL failed after a promising start as fans soured on a product that mixed Vince McMahon's version of sports entertainment with the game of football. In 2020, the XFL was reborn with a good product gaining traction.
However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic was too much of a strain on the company's finances.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Dany Garcia are hopeful that the third time will be a charm. The XFL announced the team names, head coaches, and logos yesterday. We will summarize them here.

Arlington Renegades
The legendary Bob Stoops will coach the Arlington Renegades. Bob Stoops compiled a record of 191-48 as the head coach of the University of Oklahoma. He previously coached the XFL's Dallas Renegades in the 2nd version of the XFL in 2020.
The Renegades revealed their new logo to be a broken light blue "R" wordmark. It is contained within a black background. The Renegades will play in Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
D.C Defenders
The XFL will bring back the D.C Defenders franchise. They were a franchise in the XFL in 2020.
Reggie Barlow will coach the team. Barlow had an eight-year NFL career that included stints with the Jaguars, Raiders, and Buccaneers. He has coached HBCUs Alabama State and Virginia State for a combined thirteen seasons.
The Defenders logo consists of a red "D" wordmark. A red star can be seen in the middle of the "D" contained within a white background.
Orlando Guardians
Camping World Stadium will be home to the Orlando Guardians. Terrell Buckley will coach them. He was recently the cornerback's coach for the Ole Miss Rebels in 2021. The Guardians' logo consists of a ferocious-looking beast colored gray with black outlines.
San Antonio Brahmas
Legendary Pittsburgh Steeler Hines Ward will coach the Brahmas. Hines Ward's last coaching position was the wide receivers coach at Florida Atlantic.
Brahma's logo appears to be three electric yellow bolts. One bolt is pointing to the left, while the other is pointing to the right. The other bolt is pointed downward.
Houston Roughnecks
Wade Phillips will coach the Houston Roughnecks. Wade Phillip's overall coaching career spans four decades. He has been a head coach for three different NFL teams. The Roughnecks logo contains a red "H" with a star in the middle and a white outline. It's contained within a purple background.
Seattle Sea Dragons
Jim Haslett will bring 30+ years of NFL coaching experience to his position as the Seattle Sea Dragons head coach.
The Seattle Sea Dragons appears to be a red sea creature shaped like an "S." This is contained in a red background.
St Louis Battlehawks
The coach of the Battlehawks is Anthony Becht. Becht played in the NFL for 11 years and was recently a tight ends coach for an Alliance of American Football League Team in 2019.
The St Louis Battlehawks consist of two striped wings that are mostly white with a blue outline. In the middle of the wings, a sword can be seen pointing up.
Vegas Vipers
The Vipers will be coached by legendary defender Rod Woodson. Woodson was an assistant coach with the Raiders from 2015 to 2017.
The Vipers' logo consists of two red and white streaks going downward from the left and right. The shape of the logo resembles a wide "V."
