Tampa Bay Buccaneers Primary Logo 2020 - Present
After a primarily dismal run with a new look that included uniform numbers that closely resembled that of an alarm clock, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going back to what worked.
Darker colors on their primary logo and a uniform change that both closely resemble the look the franchise had during their greatest run of success, including their only Super Bowl championship after the 2002 season.
The look of the primary logo remains the same; however, the three colors (red, black, and orange) have all been darkened to mimic the colors used from 1997-2013.
The secondary logo also returns to a former version. Since 2014, a red and black pirate ship was used, but moving forward, that ship is nearly all black, with some red accents. This logo will be used as a shoulder patch on the new uniforms, as it was during the Dungy and Gruden-era Bucs teams.
Since the rebranding in 2014, the team had one winning season and zero playoff appearances. But the team's futility goes further back than that. Their last playoff appearance came at the end of the 2007 season, and the Bucs' last postseason victory was the win over the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII.

The new uniforms will closely resemble the Super Bowl era ones as well. The classic block numbers return, with a modern addition of the word Buccaneers across the front of the jersey below the NFL shield.
Many longtime Bucs fans were hoping for a longer trip down memory lane with a return to the orange jerseys – dubbed the "Creamsicle" jerseys – and former mascot Bucco Bruce.
The team wrote in a press release that the majority of fan feedback preferred the Super Bowl-era uniforms, but they're hoping that the NFL will relax the rules on using different colored helmets for alternate jerseys, which would then allow them to don the Creamsicle look in the future, which they did do from 2009 - 2011.
The rebrand in Tampa comes as they were the unlikely winners in the Tom Brady sweepstakes. After two decades and six Super Bowl championships, Brady and the New England Patriots parted ways this offseason, with Brady choosing the Bucs as his free-agent destination.
Paired with head coach Bruce Arians, who has a long history of working with successful quarterbacks from Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger to Andrew Luck and Carson Palmer, along with Pro Bowl wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, Brady appears to have far more offensive weapons than he was afforded in his final season with the Patriots.
If the Buccaneers do have a return to the playoffs and beyond this season, it's only fitting that it will come with a look that fans across the league will equate with success.
