The oldest known National Football League logo is either the Chicago Bears or the Arizona Cardinals. Both teams began playing professional football in 1920. The Cardinals were known as the Chicago Cardinals and the Bears were known as the Decatur Staleys back in the 1920’s. Since 1920 when the Bears and Cardinals started using a NFL logo the league has grown to 32 teams with a total of 157 different logo used a their primary logo over the almost 100 years of existence.
