A new emblem for the club’s 125 years anniversary was created in 2008. Taking the current Leicester City emblem and adding the years “1884 – 2009” in blue below the wordmark at the top “LEICESTER CITY” in blue. Below the roundel emblem is a blue with gold trim banner with “125” in white and vertical “YEARS” in gold.
