NBA concept logos of the Philadelphia 76ers by various design artists from around the world. These are redesigned ideas and not actual team logos.

The Philadelphia are one of the few teams in the NBA that have always had a great team brand and look. They have been able to stay consistent in a look and feel that says “76ers” even when they went to the black, red, and gold look years ago.
Last year they unveiled a new logo that was an updated version from their original logo.
With my concept, I made a few years ago, this concept takes it one step further, showing the 13 stars along the bottom, as well as a different view of the basketball and a slight darker shade of red.

My main goal here was to capture the simplicity of the original logo, but clean up the weird form and spacing of the 76. the bell shape is obviously(I hope) supposed to be the Liberty Bell, which symbolizes the city of Philadelphia. I love the 13 stars, and wanted to make them more prominent instead of putting the whole thing inside a ball.
I’m sure most people’s complaint about this logo will be the disjointed Phila-delphia text. I think it adds a little more modern feel, but I can see why people wouldn’t like it. The “PHILA” text on the alternate logo is inspired by the old Philadelphia Warriors jerseys (left). that one might be a better option.
