This is my first time submitting a concept here so cc is appreciated! For this concept I was originally inspired to do a front facing predator logo when the seahawks unveiled their front facing logo earlier this season. I really wanted to make a home uniform that was still strong on the yellow but didn’t look like a practice jersey. Hopefully you enjoy it!
I really like the effort here, and you sure did showcase what you can do, but I don’t like the logo. Like the Seattle Seahawks new alt, this just looks boring and thrown together. I do like the cat, and for what you intended to do, it is good. Great design. Just doesn’t work on a uniform or as a logo in general. Also, not a fan of the inconsistency in the jersey stripes.

Here is my attempt at updating the Nashville Predators logo. I like the general shape/perspective of the existing logo, so I just simplified it a bit. From there, I tried to create a more realistic looking saber-toothed tiger. The logo is based off of the few illustrations I was able to find during my research.
The secondary logo is pretty straight forward. The “P” is the same modified font as the wordmark. The fang shape on the end of the P, and the striping within the P are both meant to convey elements of the saber-toothed tiger and/or primary logo.

I thought that the old mustard alternate crest had potential to make an interesting primary logo, so I just cleaned it up. A simplified version of the current primary remains as a secondary. I came up with a custom font for the wordmark and numbers, and I’m happy with the way the numbers look on the jerseys.
The color scheme keeps navy and silver but adds an icy blue-gray in the place of yellow. The home jersey color of “Steel blue” would make a unique addition to the nhl. The alternate slightly modifies the home/away template.
