NBA concept logos of the Miami Heat by various design artists from around the world. These are redesigned ideas and not actual team logos.

The Miami Heat have what could be a perfect logo for their franchise. The logo is simple and makes complete sense.
With the concept I came up with, I tried creating a design that had a soccer style/basketball feel to the design. A badge of honor that ties in the city of Miami along with the Miami Heat.

There’s a reason the Heat logo is so simple, there isn’t much to do with the “heat” concept. After a few attempts I decided to update the flaming ball concept and try to fix these 3 things:
- The Heat lettering should be more integrated with the ball for a more cohesive design.
- The sharp blocky letters didn’t feel visually connected to the logo.
- The current red looks too maroon, and doesn’t look hot enough.
In the redesign, the slanted script lettering provides the motion instead of the ball flying through a hoop, and the brighter red and orange outlines adds a sense of real heat.
The flaming ball still works alone or with a hoop, but the primary logo feels more unified.

This is not an official rebrand and is not affiliated with NBA or the Miami Heat.

The Heat have only made minor tweaks and slight color changes to their logo. I wanted to keep it the same, but change it up more than it ever has at the same time.
