The Angels have been one the more active baseball teams to make a lot of logo changes, some of the changes were caused because of name changes. The Angels have been creative, bold, classy and a little disney-ish. The Big "A" logo has always been a favorite.

The “Big A” logo with a halo in the center on a white background. The roundel is a red ring and a silver and blue trim and the wordmark “ANGELS” and “BASEBALL” in white. Also the founding year of the Angels “1961” is in the center with “19” on one side and “61” on the other side. Angels Baseball patch, worn on all uniforms.

The “Big A” font changed to a font that is similar to Bruce Double Pica with a two toned red and a thick blue trim. The halo at the top is gold with a blue background. The letter “A” represents the city of Anaheim.

This is very similar to the current logo.
